Facilities and equipment

We invest in continuing education for our team and in up-to-date equipment for the practice. Our equipment, how it is maintained and our sterilisation facilities all meet national standards.

CBCT 3D scanning

A CBCT (cone beam CT) scan is a 3D X-ray of your jaw. It shows the height, width and quality of your bone and the position of nerves and sinuses, so your implants can be planned before treatment begins. Scans are taken at our Cirencester practice.

We also take OPT (panoramic) X-rays at Cirencester, which show all of your teeth and both jaws in one image.

iTero digital scanning

A small hand-held wand scans your teeth and builds a 3D model on screen, so you can often avoid traditional impression trays and mould material. You can watch the scan as it happens. We use these scans to make crowns, bridges and implant restorations. iTero scanning is available at our Cirencester practice.

Implants and materials

  • Implant systems

We only use established implant brands, such as Straumann®.

  • Bone graft materials

When bone needs building up, the graft can be your own bone, taken from another site, or a bone substitute (biomaterial). We'll explain which suits you.

Our dental laboratories

Your crowns, bridges and dentures are made by the dental laboratories we work closely with, including Borough Crown & Bridge and TPR Dental Prosthetics, so they fit your implants and suit your smile.
