Notes on the price list
- Your consultation includes a full examination of your mouth, a fully costed plan for your treatment and a letter explaining the whole procedure.
- A CBCT 3D scan is charged in addition to the consultation, only if you need one. Scans are taken at our Cirencester practice.
- The implant fixture is priced per implant. The crown, bridge or denture it holds is priced separately.
- Dental implant treatment is available at both our Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold practices. Please tell us which you'd prefer when you book.
- Treatment for several teeth, or all the teeth in a jaw, is priced after your consultation, because it depends on how many implants you need and what they will hold.

Your written plan will list every item that applies to you, and its cost.
Your written plan comes first
It is our policy to give you full information about the cost of your treatment before any of it starts. After your consultation you'll receive a fully costed treatment plan and a letter explaining the whole procedure. Take it home, think it over and ask us anything. You'll sign the plan before any treatment begins.
Your consultation is also a good time to mention any social events, travel plans, work commitments or budget limits, so we can plan the stages of your treatment around them.

How payment works
Your plan. You'll know the full cost, item by item, before you agree to start.
Pay as you go. We normally ask you to pay a proportion of the cost at the end of each visit, rather than all at once, so payments are spread across your treatment.
Phased to suit you. We'll work with you to phase your treatment to suit your budget as far as we can.
You can pay by credit or debit card, cash or cheque.
Both our practices also offer Denplan Care, a monthly plan for your regular check-ups and hygiene visits. You can read about it on the fees pages of Cirencester Dental Practice (opens in a new tab) and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice (opens in a new tab).
Questions about fees
How much is a consultation?
An initial implant consultation costs £95, or £150 with Dr Ross Cutts, our principal dentist. Both last 30 minutes and include a full examination, a fully costed treatment plan and a letter explaining the procedure. If you need a CBCT 3D scan to plan your implants, there is an additional charge of £210. The scan is taken at our Cirencester practice.
How much does a dental implant cost?
A single implant and crown starts from £2,940. That’s the implant fixture (the screw placed in the bone) at £1,595, plus an implant crown, including its abutment, from £1,345. You may also need a consultation (£95, or £150 with Dr Ross Cutts), a CBCT 3D scan (£210) and, if the bone needs building up, artificial bone from £480. Every patient receives a written, fully costed plan before treatment starts, so you’ll know the full cost before you decide. Prices are from our August 2026 price list and may change.
How much does it cost to replace several teeth or all my teeth?
It depends on how many implants you need and what they will hold, so we price your treatment after your consultation. As a guide, each implant fixture is £1,595 and implant crowns are from £1,345. An implant denture is from £1,695 per denture, and the overdenture abutments it clips onto are £550. Bone grafting, if you need it, is priced separately. Your written plan will show every item and its cost before you decide.
How much does bone grafting cost?
Bone grafting is only needed if there isn’t enough bone to hold an implant, and your consultation and CBCT scan will show whether you need it. Artificial bone (guided tissue regeneration) is from £480, complex bone grafting is from £1,350 and sinus grafting (a sinus lift) is from £1,650. These are added to the cost of your implants and shown in your written plan before treatment starts.
Can I pay in stages?
Yes. We normally ask you to pay a proportion of the cost at the end of each visit, rather than all at once, so payments are spread across your treatment. We’ll also work with you to phase your treatment plan to suit your budget as far as we can. You’ll sign your fully costed treatment plan before any treatment starts. You can pay by credit or debit card, cash or cheque.
Can the cost change during treatment?
Your written plan sets out the fees before you start. They can change if your plan has to change, for example if a different procedure is needed, if a new treatment becomes available during your care, or if treatment takes longer than expected. Implant dentistry moves forward quickly, and we may suggest a new material or technique if it promises a clearly better result. We’ll always explain any change in cost before it is added.
Can I have implants in stages?
Sometimes. It can be possible to have two or three implants placed, use them for a while, and add more later. This doesn’t suit every situation and works most often for a lower jaw with no teeth. For example, two or more implants can first be used to hold a lower denture firmly in place. Later, if there is enough bone, more implants can be added and fixed teeth fitted, so you no longer need the denture. We’ll tell you at your consultation whether this could work for you.
How much does sedation cost?
Sedation is charged in addition to your implant treatment, and the cost depends on how long your treatment takes. A sedation consultation is £95. Sedation is from £415 for the first hour and from £250 for each hour after that. Sedation fees are on our practices’ general price lists, and the cost will be set out in your written plan.
Will I need a CBCT scan, and what does it cost?
Not everyone needs one. Your dentist will recommend a CBCT 3D scan at your consultation if it’s needed to plan your implants. The scan costs £210, in addition to the consultation fee, and is taken at our Cirencester practice. If a written report on the scan from a consultant radiologist is needed, this is from £195.
