Adapting a lower denture to fit onto implants
This case shows a lower denture being adapted to sit on implants. Implants were placed in the lower jaw and the site was left to heal. Overdenture abutments were then fitted to the implants. The fitting surface of the lower denture was prepared and relined, meaning reshaped on the inside, so that it fits over the abutments, then polished. The final photos show the upper and lower dentures together and the fitted lower implant overdenture.
