Single tooth
Replacing a broken tooth with a single implant
This tooth was broken. Once the extraction site had healed, an implant was placed and the gum closed over it. A temporary crown was fitted to the implant, then an impression post was used to record the implant's position. The laboratory made a customised gold abutment, the connector between implant and crown, and the final implant crown was fitted and reviewed after two weeks.
