Single tooth
A single implant to replace a tooth with a split root
This tooth had a split root. After it was removed and the site had healed, an implant was placed with guided bone regeneration to build up the bone, and a denture was seated over the site. Once healed, the abutment was seated using a jig and a temporary crown shaped the gum. The final implant crown was then fitted; the last photos show the patient's smile and the crown two weeks later.
