Multiple teeth
Replacing missing teeth with an implant-supported bridge
After an extraction site had healed, the gum was opened to expose the bone and an implant was placed. A healing abutment shaped the gum while the implant settled. An iTero digital scan was then taken, and the implant bridge and abutment were made on the iTero model. An acrylic jig, a positioning guide, was used to seat the final abutment, and the bridge was fitted and checked at a two-week review.
