Single tooth
A single implant with guided bone regeneration
An implant was placed and guided bone regeneration, graft material to build up the bone, was used around it before the site was closed. After healing, the gum was shaped around the healing abutment to develop the emergence profile, the way a tooth comes out of the gum. An acrylic jig, a positioning guide, was used to seat the final abutment, and the implant crown was then fitted.
