A private practice in the centre of Cirencester
The Dental Implant Practice is the implant service of Cirencester Dental Practice, based in the Old Post Office on Castle Street, and of Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice. Implant treatment is available at both, and CBCT scans are taken here in Cirencester.

Our story
Cirencester Dental Practice opened in January 2010 as a private practice in the centre of the historic market town of Cirencester, offering advanced surgical and restorative treatment. All of our treatment is private.
The practice is led by its principal dentist, Dr Ross Cutts, whose work with dental implants began in 2003 and who has trained in the UK, Europe and North America. Today Ross works alongside a team of dentists, hygienists, dental nurses and front-of-house staff across two practices, with Gaynor Cutts (Practice Manager, GDC 148673) managing both.
The Dental Implant Practice is the name for our implant service. General dentistry, from check-ups to fillings, is looked after on our practices' own websites: Cirencester Dental Practice (opens in a new tab) and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice (opens in a new tab).
Two practices
We offer implant treatment at both of our practices. Let us know which you'd prefer when you book.

The implant service
From your first visit to your new teeth, your treatment is planned and carried out by our own team.
Consultation: a 30-minute appointment with a full examination, leading to a fully costed treatment plan and a letter explaining your options.
3D planning: a CBCT scan, if you need one, shows your jawbone in three dimensions so your implants can be planned precisely.
Implant placement: carried out at the practice, with IV sedation available if you're nervous.
Bone grafting, if needed: building up the bone first, or at the same time as the implant.
Your new teeth: a crown, bridge or denture made to fit your implants.
Looking after them: regular hygienist visits and check-ups.
We only use established implant brands, such as Straumann®, and Ross also accepts referrals from other dentists for implant treatment.

How we work
- Clear costs, agreed in writing. You'll always receive a fully costed plan before any treatment starts, and you can pay in stages as your treatment progresses.
- Time to decide. Your plan and treatment letter are yours to take home and think over.
- Calm, careful care. We explain every step, agree a stop signal before we begin, and never rush you.
- Learning and teaching. We invest in continuing education for the whole team. Ross and members of our team teach other dentists through Bite Size Education and the Cirencester ITI Study Club, held in our Training Room.
- Working with your own dentist. If you were referred to us, we keep your dentist informed and return you to their care once treatment is complete.
Registered and regulated
Our dentists, hygienists and qualified dental nurses are registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Both practices are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC): Cirencester Dental Practice, location ID 1-204308282, and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice, location ID 1-1449921768.
Dr Ross Cutts is the CQC Registered Manager of Cirencester Dental Practice and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice (CQC Registered Manager ID 1-153017339).
