Root canal treatment under the microscope
Root canal (endodontic) referrals are seen by Dr Adrian Jones, a dentist with a special interest in endodontics, working under the microscope. His clinics are at our Cirencester practice on Wednesdays and Fridays. You will be kept fully informed of your patient's treatment with us before they return to your care.
What we offer
After assessment, Adrian can undertake all aspects of root canal treatment, including:
- root canal treatment of anterior, premolar and molar teeth
- re-treatment
- surgical endodontics, such as micro apical surgery
- removal of instruments or posts
- fibre posts and cores, and pre-endodontic build-ups
- histology and reporting where needed (Rise Pathology)
- a CBCT scan at Cirencester, if required.

Dentist with a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment). Adrian has accepted endodontic referrals since 2007 and works under a microscope.
Profile: Dr Adrian Jones
Adrian qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1997 and has worked in private practice in Gloucestershire since 2005. He gained the MFDS in 2001, the Certificate in Oral Implantology and Prosthodontics from the Oxford Society of Implantology in 2009, and an MSc in Endodontology, with merit, from the University of Chester in 2020. He has accepted endodontic referrals since 2007 and has experience of complex planning and co-ordinating care within multidisciplinary teams.

What happens next
We book your patient in for an endodontic consultation, including dental X-rays, as soon as possible. A CBCT scan is taken if required.
Adrian carries out the agreed treatment at Cirencester.
You are kept fully informed of your patient's treatment before they return to your care.

Refer online through our encrypted referral form. You can attach radiographs.
