Treatment under sedation for anxious patients
Dr Joao Souteiro and Dr Melanie Bennett are both qualified to provide intravenous (IV) sedation at our Cirencester practice. Sedation relieves anxiety and leaves your patient deeply relaxed while still awake, so patients who find dental visits very difficult can have the treatment they need.
What we offer
- Intravenous conscious sedation with midazolam, given through a vein in the back of the hand or the inside of the elbow, with the patient monitored throughout
- An initial sedation consultation, with a comprehensive oral examination and a fully costed plan
- Sedation alongside our other referral services, for example surgical referrals with Dr Gavin Ho Fat and dental implant treatment
Sedation is provided at our Cirencester practice.
